A priest has shared that he “wouldn’t wish on his worst enemy” the disturbing things he claims to have seen during what he describes as a visit to hell.Of all the people to recount an experience involving hell, you wouldn’t necessarily expect it to be a priest—or maybe that makes it all the more striking.

Back in 2016, Gerald Johnson, a clergyman, says he had a heart attack that led to a surreal and terrifying glimpse into hell itself. To add an unexpected twist, the fiery abyss apparently had its own bizarre playlist.

Now, if you’re picturing songs from bands like AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, or even Led Zeppelin blaring in the background, you’d be mistaken.Surprisingly, it wasn’t heavy rock or metal that filled the air. Instead, Johnson says he heard pop and R&B, including music from none other than Rihanna.

Sharing his account on TikTok, Johnson described what he encountered in hell. He reiterated that the experience was so intense he “wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.”

He explained: “My spirit left my physical body and I thought that I was going upwards, because I thought I had done so much good in this lifetime and helped so many people and basically made decisions that were godly decisions.””As opposed to going up I went down. There was a section in hell where music was playing and it was the same music that you hear on the Earth, but as opposed to entertainers singing it, demons were singing it.”

Johnson elaborated: “It was some of the same lyrics that we hear here, I knew that on Earth a lot of the lyrics and the music and the songs are inspired by demons.””Every lyric to every song is there to torment you as to the fact you didn’t worship god through music while you were on the Earth.”

Among the songs he says were used by demons to torment souls were Rihanna’s hit “Umbrella” and even the cheerful tune “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin.

While Rihanna’s music might not be everyone’s cup of tea, her dedicated fans have been eagerly awaiting her next album. The artist hasn’t released a new record since 2016, leaving her followers craving more.Fans have dubbed the anticipated album “R9,” and Rihanna fueled the excitement when she hinted at releasing it by the end of 2023. Yet, as winter 2024 rolls in, the wait continues.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year in June, Rihanna shared: “Now, I’m prepared to go back in the studio. […] I’m gonna start.”The singer and mom-of-two also mentioned that while she’s essentially “starting over” on the album, she won’t completely discard all the songs she’s worked on so far.
